Workshop Information:

for an idea of what we make in workshops, click here.

  • Workshops spaces are filled on a first come, first served basis and places limited so I can get around to everyone and allow time for sharing hints, tips and tutorials.
  • Full day workshops contain a minimum of 5 projects, mainly cards but also another papercraft project like favour boxes, bags or other dimensional objects, depending on the time of year.
  • Project kits contain everything needed to make the card, with the exception of glue, double sided tape, foam pads and colouring tools for images - see what you need to bring below.
  • The day is informal and you can work at your own pace!
  • You will be given the opportunity to use inks, stamps and embossing / die cutting tools and machines during the day.
  • Depending on the season, and the theme for the day, the cards will be made using a mixture of die cuts, Rubber stamp / digi images and decoupage.
Note - I respect digital artists' usage policies and where digital crafting products are used in workshops, I have sought permission from the artist directly - digital images and papers should not be shared without express permission from the artist.
If you wish to share / use digital images from the Internet, ensure they are copyright free or you seek permission from the creator.

What to bring to a workshop:

There are spare tools available on the day on request, and a lot of us crafters don't mind sharing, but its handy if you can bring the following basic tools:

Cutting mat
Scissors
Craft Knife
Ruler
Pencil
Eraser
Double Sided Tape
Foam pads / foam tape (various thicknesses is a great idea for different projects)
Glue
Trimmer / Guillotine
Pokey Tool
Colouring tools - pencils, watercolours, markers, distress inks, etc (if you don't have these let me know as you dot NEED to have them to come along!)

Optional extras
Distress inks
Distress Tool / emery boards for distressed edges
glitter
your own ribbons / embellishments
your favourite border punches
corner rounder / double corner rounder

Links to some products I use and people ask me about often:

glue - I use art institute pink label - dries clear - glue for sticking most things including card, ribbon and embellishments made of wood, plastic, foam, metal, resin etc.
You can find it at these stockists, but this can change so shop around, and I am trying to sort an Irish stockist at present!
That's crafty (big 4oz bottle)

Chunky Crystal Glitter from Cork Art Supplies.

double corner rounder from Cottage Crafts
